For a Sushi dinner, far from the standards of any AYCE, the choice always falls on Chevere. Great culinary experience, really tasty dishes and full of excellent flavors. Neat and elegant environment, kind staff who knew how to recommend the courses very well. We came here after years of following the Instagram page, on holiday in Sicily we immediately took the opportunity and booked here. What can I say? Exceptional! Great spot, great sushi, great combination of flavors.
Chevere sushi & poke is a very good restaurant I have never eaten such sushi before. Maria A. Every time we pass through Acireale, Chevere is a guarantee! A restaurant like this with sushi like this I suspected would be in Catania or a big city like Palermo, Naples, Rome, Milan etc. which is actually in a smaller city that is not known by everyone. It mixes amazingly the traditions of the sushi with tropical culture and flavors. There aren’t enough stars for this place. We stopped on our way to Taormina and lived every sushi from here.
By chance yesterday I stopped at this very well-kept place. A la carte menu. Everything very good.

Oxidiana (Catania)
Oxidiana is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Catania. Beautiful location across from the Acireale Cathedral. Excellent pizza, excellent sushi.
The menu offers a good variety of sushi, sashimi, and Japanese specialties, including vegetarian options. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the dishes are always beautifully presented, with generous portions. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, perfect for a quiet dinner or a special occasion. The staff is courteous and professional, although service can sometimes be a bit slow during busy periods. Prices are reasonable for the quality, although drinks and service can add up.
Since I was little my father took me to this wonderful place and I went back with my boyfriend the quality of the fish is excellent.
